Slimtree CSA Information

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Your CSA share gives you a beautiful hand tied flower bouquet filled with the freshest, in season flowers. Some of the flowers you can expect are peonies and sweet peas. Later in the season, dahlias, sunflowers and snapdragons. We are growing many other flowers, so each bouquet is sure to bring a fresh look to your home or business.

Summer Season

We will bring you the freshest organic flowers from our farm on Mondays. We have three drop off locations and this year. We ask that you stay consistent with your pickup choice the whole season to help us stay organized. You may share your CSA with another person, just let us know. We can never guarantee when our flowers will start blooming so if by chance we have a late spring, we will reimburse you the weeks that we cannot fulfill, or we will double your bouquet on a week when the flowers are in peak production.

A CSA is a partnership between farmers and members

By signing this form and joining our CSA, you agree to and understand the following:

  • If you are unable to pick up your flowers, please send a friend, colleague or neighbor to pick it up for you.
  • If you do not pick up your CSA share on the weekly date, there will be no refunds or repeats for missed shares.
  • Your CSA may be split amongst family and friends! Please split your shares amongst yourselves and plan pick up accordingly.
  • Please make sure you bring a container filled with water to the pick up site to insure your flowers stay as fresh as possible.
  • Farming is heavily dependent on weather and climate conditions. Participants will receive a variety of blooms, but may not get every bloom that is in production due to crop failure or low yields.
CSA Shares can be purchased at our online shop!
Like flowers in a vase, we’re all in this together! Thank you for buying local.

We will bring you the freshest organic flowers from our farm for six weeks, beginning early July through August.

A full share provides bouquets for 6 weeks. You may share your CSA with another person, just let us know! We can never guarantee when our flowers will start blooming so if by chance we have a late spring, we will reimburse you the weeks that we cannot fulfill. We will also hopefully have a longer season.  If that happens, we will have bouquets available for pickup at the farm on Saturdays in  late August and possibly into September.

On Mondays, we bring our bouquets in water, straight from our farm to you at the following locations:
• The Salcha Store, at noon.
• The North Pole Safeway parking lot, on Mondays, from 4:15 to 4:30 p.m.
• The Lola Tilly building at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks campus, on Mondays from 5 to 7 p.m.
Please bring a container of water for transporting when picking up. For the freshest looking flowers all week, change the vase water daily. We hope you enjoy these flowers as much as we enjoy growing them. Thank you for buying local flowers.
