Introducing Mme Emile Debatene. She is a beauty!
This was our first bud from a Coral Charm. It was small since our plants are immature, but oh that color! I can see why Martha Stewart loves this variety!
Peonies don’t come in the color blue, but to me, sometimes the pink of Mons Jules Elie has a bluish hue. Maybe it’s from our long daylight. Or maybe it’s just how the petals are reflecting our beautiful blue sky.
We are infatuated with the amount of petals in Festiva Maxima peonies. They unfold for days. You can just barely see the yellow stamens coming out of this petal along with the slightest hint of red that makes this flower both interesting and beautiful.
This Sarah Bernhardt bud is literally dripping in sweetness. One of the reasons we love our bees on the farm is because they clean all of this off. Our Sarah’s grow humongous under the midnight sun.
